Have you seen all those commercials they show on television for that dating site that is really popular? Well one day I decided to give it a try, I wanted to see if it was true that by signing up I would meet the love of my life. It was a bit exciting to think that I would finally meet that one man that would change my life. I had become so used to dealing with these jerks who only thought about sex and nothing else. I plunged in, took the 3 month membership and was shocked to find that the cost for 3 months on this dating site is almost 200 dollars!

Several hours later I had completed my profile on the dating site and I was ready to being my new exciting love life. There was a bit of a wait time while I was matched up but I was happy to have 3 matches in my email box when I signed in the next time. One was a really great looking guy with soft blue eyes. Being a sucker for soft blue eyes I sent him an email hoping he would reply. I hoped that I did not appear to be one of those desperate sex seeking maniacs that I was used to dealing with.

Next I got some communication from a guy that had been matched up with me. He was older than I normally liked but what the heck I thought, I better not be picky. I replied to him and we began an emailing relationship. After a week and no reply from mister soft blue eyes, I agreed to meet my older match Kevin for dinner. I won't lie, it was exciting to finally have a date with a real man. It was also a bit awkward, kind of like a blind date but I tried to think positive.

We met that evening and had some great conversation. He was very nice and very much a gentleman but right away I knew we were not a true match. I think he was much too old for me and looking for some casual dates and maybe some sex too. Of course if he met women his age he would get some because he really was a nice guy.

So far I have gone on only one other date that was also a fluke. I realize the guys I am meeting are nice but they are not exciting and passionate. Maybe Iam going tojoin a different dating site. I joined one that is geared to a younger more active crowd. Hopefully I have better luck there.
